Treatment Modalities

At AHTC, we recognize the importance of employing a diverse range of treatment modalities to address the unique needs and challenges faced by our clients. Our program incorporates evidenced-based, trauma-informed modalities, centered on skills-based approaches. Our modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, dual-diagnoses therapies, social and developmental therapies, recreational activities, psychoeducation, and on-going emotional guidance and support.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Arise Hillside Treatment Center is one of the rare facilities that focuses primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT has been proven to be one of the most effective interventions for individuals who suffer with different forms of mental health disorders. CBT is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. The goal of this therapeutic approach is to modify unhealthy thinking and behavioral patterns. While CBT is a form of talk therapy what it intends to instill are diverse techniques of healthy rationalization skills, behavior patterns, and impulse control in times of need.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is exceptionally effective forĀ individuals who have difficulty managing and regulating emotions. DBT emphasizes on the importance of learning to effectively bear emotional pain and distress as stress cannot be entirely avoided in everyday life. DBT focuses on learning tangible skills that are designed to foster distress tolerance in times of crisis by practicing healthy coping skills.
